Description:

The candidate will work in support of the US Army Intelligence School of Excellence (USAICoE) Chief Information Officer/G6 (CIO/G6) in support of training and training related operations, located primarily at Fort Huachuca, AZ.  The duties and responsibilities of the candidate may include but are not limited to the following:

 

The Candidate shall operate, maintain, install and configure, systems, servers, storage arrays, databases, and other system components as required to meet and support USAICoE mission requirements, and in accordance with all applicable regulations, policies and best practices. 


 

The Candidate shall perform weekly cybersecurity scans of all USAICoE systems for vulnerabilities using ACAS, mitigate all found system vulnerabilities to maintain all systems within compliance with all applicable policies, regulations, and/or guidance, and document any findings in a Plan of Action and Milestones for review/approval by the Government on a weekly basis.  Additionally, the Candidate shall perform cybersecurity scans of systems and/or networks as required by the Government while maintaining a secure and risk mitigated Information Assurance system/network architecture. 


 

The Candidate shall assist the Government to draft, prepare, and maintain documents related to System Administration, Management, and Maintenance. 


 

The Candidate shall maintain all systems compliant with all DoD IT Governance standards.  Any found vulnerabilities must be documented in a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) that explains the vulnerability, reason why the vulnerability is not remediated or mitigation steps, and timeline and milestones/actions to remediation. 


 

The Candidate shall provide and manage administrator and student account logins. 


 

The Candidate shall answer any questions from the Government regarding the operational and/or technical status of USAICoE systems. 


 

The Candidate shall assist end users with the ingestion of message traffic and/or data into systems and databases, as required. 


 

The Candidate shall assist users with the loading and configuration of map data into Intelligence systems and databases, as required. 


 

The Candidate shall perform database normalization for customized databases. 

 

The Candidate shall maintain and manage Intelligence and mission systems web applications and other software and services. 


 

The Candidate shall create, implement, and maintain server relational databases and database tables, and perform data administration on the databases created for this contract. 


 

The Candidate shall create new databases and create and distribute logins and passwords for those databases as required. 


 

The Candidate shall assist authorized database users with database connectivity issues. 


 

The Candidate shall support the functions of Data Configuration Management. 

 

The Candidate shall install, test, and troubleshoot data programs, scripts, schema, data, and documentation. 


 

The Candidate shall support the monitoring and tuning of the data environment to support databases and portal servers. 


 

The Candidate shall ensure database data integrity through the use of database normalization procedures during the database design phase. 


 

The Candidate shall ensure database data integrity by periodic review of database table and will back-up tables and databases as required. 


 

The Candidate shall modify data and/or system interfaces to support the operational mission. 


 

The Candidate shall provide customer-specified hardware, software, IT infrastructure installation materials, and labor to configure and implement IT capabilities to meet mission requirements. 


 

The Candidate shall ensure all network system and equipment are IAVA and STIG compliant IAW but not limited to; security regulations, standards, policies, security systems and procedures, and best practices and all other applicable Government documents. http://iase.disa.mil/. 


 

The Candidate shall coordinate and perform hardware and software changes, expansions, upgrades, and maintenance on the current and future system and network architectures IAW all regulations, standards, policies and procedures and best practices and all other applicable Government documents. All system configuration changes must be approved by the Government in an USAICoE G6 Configuration Control Board (CCB) prior to implementation. 


 

The Candidate shall alert the Government when the system operation indicates congestion, or other problems, causing degraded performance. 


 

The Candidate shall provide recommendations to the Government regarding technology and services pertaining to USAICoE’s Network Architecture, Systems and Facility Support changes that can enhance mission performance, including but not limited to; updates, upgrades, additions, deletions, installations, replacements equipment accountability and tracking 


 


Qualifications:
Typically requires BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.

 

DoD TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Thin/Zero client experience

Database management experience
