The Global Services Group is seeking a Senior Reentry Vehicle Analyst to support a client’s operational requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Successful candidates will work well in team environments and will be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. Candidates will be expected to effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization. The Reentry analyst will also be adept at mentoring junior colleagues and will be expected to present training courses and talks to both general and technical audiences on occasion.

In addition to the clearance requirement, successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in all aspects reentry phenomenology, aerodynamic modeling, reentry vehicle design, and operation, manufacturing requirements, materials, and methods. Experience with composite materials, thermodynamic and heat transfer modeling of missile subsystems. Must be able to travel overseas on short notice and must therefore have a valid US passport.

The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance, with the possibility of attaining a TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance. There is no exception to the clearance requirement.

Twelve years of experience related to reentry vehicles is required, 15 or more years is desired. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, an advanced degree is preferred.
