The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services, & Support (SENS3) for the continued operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). This requirement was previously called Enterprise Networked Services Support (ENSS). Supporting the SENS3 managment team, the candidate will monitor voice and video operations for SENS3 Operational Networks at the VVOC on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis, with staggered shifts and at least two personnel during every shift, to identify and collaborate to resolve actual or possible voice/video problems. The candidate will provide voice and video operation and maintenance support, including: -Test and maintain interconnectivity gateways with OGA voice/video infrastructure; -Provide remedial user training as requested/required; -Maintain inventories and other configuration management documentation; -Perform periodic COMSEC maintenance activities; -Provide onsite support for CMS and JWICs infrastructure; -Maintain system phonebooks/directories and exchange; -Provide audiovisual support for DHS NCR hosting facilities; -Perform periodic inspection and testing of conference rooms; -Secure Mobile Services

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience working A/V equipment, secure video teleconferencing (VTC), Voice Over IP (VOIP), and/or network and infrastructure equipment.
  •  Experience providing operational support for all voice/video and network environments;
  • HP Networking Certification
  • Microsoft Certification
  • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
  • Security+

  • DHS Experience


Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
