Description:
Performs monitoring and management of mainframes, networks and workgroup servers. Analyst position in the LM VDC Network Control Center (NCC) Tier I with a focus on Monitoring activities. Serve as a NCC Analyst working in the NCC and maintaining operations of CMS VDC Systems. The NCC is the focal point for monitoring systems supporting CMS VDC and coordinating the processes and activities that focus on restoring service as quickly as possible after an incident occurs. Monitors computing resources within the CMS VDC Environments. Alerts systems owners, stakeholders and management of degraded system status and Severity 1 incidents. Research system problems, troubleshoots, escalates and documents corrective actions. Assist with Change Management, Problem Management, Configuration management and Crisis Management activities. Collaborates with peers from other Functional Areas and shares relevant information regarding incidents and events on different platforms. Monitors data center networks, infrastructure bandwidth, application health, servers and other infrastructure. Coordinates and communicates with vendors

Qualifications:
Fundamental IT Technical Experience. -Basic Windows Server Administration -Basic Network/Infrastructure (Cisco) -Strong Microsoft Office Skills (WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK) Strong Communication Skills - Written and Verbal Skills - Collaboration Strong Customer Service Skills Experience working within an Enterprise level IT Data Center (Particularly within an IT "Monitoring/Discover" (Tier 1) role Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
