Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION: This sub family is responsible for the partnering with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives and resolution of HR issues. They will also produce a strong relationship between HR strategy and the overall business strategy. Provides strategic partnership and integration to help line managers make informed overarching decisions in the areas of workforce planning, talent management actions and investments, priorities for talent acquisition, improving productivity, impacting retention, focusing development priorities, and ensuring rewards and redeployment are focused on key growth areas and strategic investments. May also serve in an advisory role or liaison between management and Human Resources sub-functions to effectively resolve issues, implement and deploy programs, adhere to company policies and mitigate risk. IMPACT: Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with major impact on the area of responsibility. Responsible for entire projects or processes spanning multiple professional areas. Typically responsible for coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals. COMPLEXITY: Problems typically involve multiple issues, areas or specialties. Makes significant improvements in programs, processes, and solutions to enhance results. COMMUNICATION: Communicates with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. May communicate with parties external to the organization (e.g., sub-contractors, vendors, etc.). Works to influence project/team leaders regarding solution design, process and/or approaches. LEADERSHIP & TALENT MANAGEMENT: KNOWLEDGE: Utilizes expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced principles, and concepts of a professional family. TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA degree and 8 � 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 � 10 years of prior relevant experience. EFFECTIVE DATE: 01/02/2016
Qualifications:
Prior HR Business Partner / HR Generalist experience Demonstrated experience with coaching, influencing, and building effective relationships with leaders and employees to influence decisions Demonstrated experience leading and driving change initiatives within client groups Proven ability to move from strategy to execution Experience in HR disciplines such as performance management, talent management, career development and employee relations. Ability to anticipate client needs and develop effective plans Track record of driving positive Employee Relations Strong communication skills, written and verbal Analytical and project management skills Proficiency in Microsoft applications Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Strong computer skills using HR applications, HR reporting and MS office suite Ability to manage multiple competing priorities Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree or equivalent professional experience.
