Seeking a Senior Computer Network Technologist who will be responsible for the ongoing administration and maintenance of network devices in a large complex Local Area Network. This is a senior network engineering position. Ensures correct function of network switches/routers, monitors anomalous activity, reports, and supports resolution. Supports network engineering efforts for network enhancements, replacement of obsolete equipment, troubleshooting network problems, and performs network documentation and drawing updates. Previous experience configuring and maintaining network security monitoring tools to include Cisco ASA firewalls and Cisco Intrusion Detection Systems.

Requires good communication skills to support effective and accurate exchange of information with teammates and customers. Requires ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. Must have advanced knowledge, understanding, and experience with configuration of Cisco or Juniper routers and switches, IP addressing, spanning-tree, OSPF and BGP routing. Experience with Microsoft tools: Word, Power-Point, Visio. Must have a current DODI 8570.01-M IAT Level II (or higher) Certification or must obtain the certification within first 60 days of employment Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. Active, current (active within the last five years) or ability to obtain a TS/SCI SSBI security clearance with Polygraph and US Citizenship required. Cisco CCNA, CCNP certification. Experience with IP address management and/or DNS 802.1x standard and Radius authentication Juniper/JUNOS experience Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
