The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services, & Support (SENS3) for the continued operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). This requirement was previously called Enterprise Networked Services Support (ENSS). The candidate will perform on SENS3 supporting temporary secure facility operations. The candidate will provide support, including: - Assist in planning for deploying IT assets to temporary secure facilities during emergency response and national special security events (e.g., hurricanes, Inauguration Day, World Series). - Deploy IT equipment and network connectivity and provide logistical support to temporary secure facilities. - Provide O&M for HSDN and C-LAN assets operating in temporary secure facilities. -Provide logistical support for technical refreshment and decommissioning of HSDN and C-LAN assets in temporary secure facilities.
- 8+ years experience with planning, documenting, and implementing projects. - Firm understanding of facility Security requirements. - experienced with Network support, Network Equipment, cabling, wiring. - Ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment. - Ability to brief Staff members to and contribute solutions to decisions. - work cooperatively as a team member and Provide recommendations to DHS building effective customer relationships. - knowledge of ITIL principles. - Ability to work independently with minimal or no oversight. - experience with Agile, SAFe, DevOps project management experience. - extensive experience with Microsoft project in Developing project schedules, Resource pools, and critical path/dependency analysisi. - Strong written and verbal communications skills. - Strong customer relationship management skills. - experience Developing customer briefings, presentations. - experience managing project development teams in Software development, Infrastructure management, or System transitions. - experience in supporting design reviews. - experience in Developing customer Requirements, test/evaluation criteria, and project dependencies. - experience with risk management, labor Cost estimation, and Opportunity development. - active TS/SCI - DHS experience Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
