Description:
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services, & Support (SENS3) for the continued operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). This requirement was previously called Enterprise Networked Services Support (ENSS). Supporting the SENS3 management team, the candidate will support specialized audio services to ensure Service Level Agreements are met, including: - Operating and maintaining remotely controllable secure voice and data terminal devices (e.g., STE-R and VIPER) in support of the Classified Audio Bridge (CAB); - Ensuring COMSEC keying material is updated and maintained; - Test and troubleshoot lines connected Classified Audio Bridge and other specialized equipment; - Playing a key role as part of a team providing technical support, consulting, integration project management, and maintenance support for communication equipment and support.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience installing, operating, and maintaining secure VTC, VoIP, and/or Network equipment in a customer service focused environment; - Experience with troubleshooting, data encryption, configuration management, and engineering in support - DHS Experience - CCNA/CCNP Certification - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Experience with Cisco CUCM or Enterprise VOIP telephony - Knowledge of SIP voice, video, and other UC functions - Familiarity with Section 508 Accessibilit Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
