Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION: This sub family is responsible for overall network engineering support for a broad range of programs including planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the network. Duties may include providing specifications for network architecture, evaluating and recommending new technologies to enhance current capabilities, and performing needs assessments. Support level duties may include monitoring, installation, modification, testing and servicing of network equipment. IMPACT: Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables. Responsible for entire projects or processes within a technical area. Typically responsible for coaching and reviewing the work of lower level technical staff. COMPLEXITY: Develops technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution. Develops solutions to technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge. COMMUNICATION: Communicates with internal and client project team members. Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches. LEADERSHIP & TALENT MANAGEMENT: KNOWLEDGE: Requires deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas. TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires BS and 4 � 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 � 6 years of prior relevant experience. EFFECTIVE DATE: 01/02/2016
Qualifications:
A minimum of five (5) years of experience with the setup, implementation and day-today operational support of the following Microsoft products: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2013/2016, Microsoft Cluster Services, Microsoft Windows 2008/2012, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS Services, DHCP Services and Group Policy, calendaring, and public folder and exchange group maintenance In addition to the setup and implementation of Microsoft Exchange in a clustered environment, the qualifying candidate must have experience troubleshooting, optimizing Exchange performance, performing Exchange database maintenance, Exchange database backups and restore, Exchange mailbox journaling, exchange queues monitoring, and recovery of a corrupted exchange information store and e-discovery techniques . The qualifying candidate must have a solid understanding of all phases of a disaster recovery scenario including preparation and implementation exercises to include but not limited to Microsoft Exchange Cluster, and Microsoft Active Directory.
