Description:
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services, & Support (SENS3) for the continued operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). This requirement was previously called Enterprise Networked Services Support (ENSS). The candidate is responsible for providing the technical services necessary to engineer, operate, deploy, maintain, and secure the HSDN and C-LAN systems for DHS. In addition, the candidate is responsible to conduct preventive maintenance on existing system assets, and perform technology refreshment to enhance or replace existing system components with newer, better maintained technologies to avoid performance degradation and obsolescence. The candidate will operate and maintain the SENS3 networks in accordance with the Government-approved PWS, Government-approved SLAs, and security policies.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with Network Operations or Application and Tools development. - Experience with scripting, SharePoint application, network defense, and network monitoring. -Familiarity with scripting tools and languages such as Swift, Ruby, C -DHS experience -CCDA or CCNA certification -ServiceNow certification -BMC Remedy certification Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
