The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services, & Support (SENS3) for the continued operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). This requirement was previously called Enterprise Networked Services Support (ENSS). Supporting the SENS3 management team, the selected individual will be responsible for providing Logistics/Procurement support. The candidate will, assist in all procurement, financial, and administrative activities; assist in the drafting of documentation and policies related to procurement, purchasing, travel, and other typical areas of corporate spend; lead vendor negotiations for small and commodity purchasing, and assist with vendor negotiations on enterprise-wide purchasing.
-5+ years of experience leading the Logistics and asset Procurement activities for high priority, fast moving projects. -experience in use of project management tools such as MS project, and in delivering consistent status reports. -Knowledgeable in coordinating vendor/OEM support for integration, and onsite support. experience in working with suppliers & vendors in the IT field -Proven Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to project milestones -Proven Ability to deliver results in supplier selection, management, negotiation, capacity planning, and risk management. DHS Experience Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
