The Triton Program located in Aurora is seeking a Senior Database Administrator (DBA). The selected candidate will work as a member of the Data Exchange (DEX) Tier 3 Engineering Team. The DBA will be responsible for supporting Oracle 11g and 12c database systems and services for both test and production in several environments. Duties include setup and installation of the Oracle Database software, Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) using Automatic Storage Management (ASM). Database maintenance and troubleshooting skills, anomaly resolution, backup and recovery using RMAN, as well as database patching. Other duties include writing and maintaining installation test and training plans, performing integration into site baselines in accordance with site processes and procedures. Candidate should be able to demonstrate a through working knowledge of Oracle databases. The selected candidate will support the transition of legacy site-specific databases to the virtual Enterprise environment and assist in the development of a roadmap for administrative database infrastructure. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills. A proven track record in an enterprise IT environment and be able to interface in a professional manner in a diverse work environment. The Triton Program supports 24x7 mission critical customer environment. Employees may be scheduled to work or be called in to work during off hours to meet customer mission support requirements. A Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and polygraph are required.
