The GEOAxIS program is seeking an experienced software engineer to provide technical expertise in support of a mission critical Enterprise Identity & Access Management (IdAM) system. Successful candidate will provide software development support and should have a development, Free and Open Source (FOSS), and Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) background. The individual must be able to evaluate trade-offs between system capability, art of the possible, and security constraints, as well as communicate conclusions and rationales to technical and non-technical individuals to obtain concurrence. Successful candidate must be cognizant of and follow the SAFe agile software development process program is leveraging. He or she will be responsible for supporting Systems Engineering Requirement Reviews, developing the material for and holding and reviewing software peer reviews, creating and informally testing the software, working with Test Engineers to develop test plans, supporting the formal test of requirements, creating required documentation, and working issues found during the software development/integration process. Duties may include: Custom coding front and back end interfaces Troubleshoot and resolve system/operational incidents COTS integration with Oracle s IdAM software stack Packaging/scripting of installs Performance analysis Technical hands on support during operational baseline deployments and transitions of the GEOAxIS baseline Technical hands on support for operational needs Compiling and reviewing support documentation Successful candidate will have good communication skills, good attitude, be a results-oriented team player, creative thinker, problem solver, and follow all Leidos ethical standards. Java/J2EE development Strong written and verbal communications skills Self-starter with an ability to work independently and within a team environment General IdAM domain knowledge and/or experience COTS and FOSS integration experience Understanding and background in COTS integration and custom code development Atlassian JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence Agile development Jenkins & chef Automated testing WebLogic Familiarity with IdAM products, especially Oracle (OID, OVD, OIF, OAM, OES, OUD) Security Protocols/Concepts (SSL/TLS, PKI, etc.) Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Apache HTTPD CA SecureSpan XML Gateway Unix/Linux SOA/Web Services Oracle Database Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
