Description:
Leidos is seeking a Warhead Analyst to support a client’s operational requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. There is no exception to the clearance requirement.

Successful candidates will work well in team environments and will be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. Candidates will be expected to effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization. The Warhead Analyst will also be adept at mentoring junior colleagues and will be expected to present training courses and talks to both general and technical audiences on occasion.


Qualifications:

Required Skills: The Warhead Analyst must be knowledgeable of all aspects of warhead design, operations, testing requirements and modeling for both conventional and non-conventional warheads. He or she must be able to analyze performance and test results. Industrial experience in warhead design, testing or modeling is desired.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: 12 years of experience is required, 15 or more years of experience is desired. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, an advanced degree is preferred.
