Life Cycle Management Specialist / Materiel
Applicants will be responsible for managing materiel, property and COMSEC accounts at the Air Force Squadron level. Duties will include the organization and control of warehouse space, benchstock items and maintaining a complete listing of materiel and property warranties and lifecycle maintenance and replenishment schedules. Applicants will receive and process stock parts and equipment; inspect all items to ensure they properly identified, in good condition and properly classified; accept items (as required) and ensure they are properly stored and accounted for to include secure handling and storage of classified and sensitive items; and provide customer bench stock assistance. Applicants will work with planners and contracting offices using AF FORM 9, AFEMS, AIM and / or Custodian Authorization/Custody Receipt Listing (CA/CRL) account actions to procure materiel and pay sustainment fees; and track / report procurement developments and maintenance contract statuses through all stages of procurement and life cycle development ensuring proper time for contract office actions. Applicants will develop and implement inventory control system best practices, coordinate with external organizations and perform internal reviews, inventory verifications, contractor self-assessments and internal audits and contract closeouts. Applicants must be experienced in working with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM) and National Security Agency/Central Security Service (NSA/CSS) Policy Manual 3-16 (Control of COMSEC Material). Applicants must possess strong organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated customer service experience; and capable of working individually and collaboratively to resolve problems and implement improvements.
Applicants must possess an Associate’s Degree in a related field (Logistics / Information Management or equivalent) and a minimum of 14 years of AF Inventory Control Management experience including at least 3 years as a COMSEC custodian. They must be physically individually able to lift / move equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
TS/SCI security clearance is required to perform these duties.
