Description:
Leidos is actively interviewing for a Project Manager to work with our team out of Alexandria, VA.

JOB SUMMARY:  
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP) Scientific and Technical Engagement Partnership (STEP) is a global training, research, and operational support program focused on capability-building in the areas of biosurveillance and biorisk management. The Program Manager serves as a direct customer interface responsible for managing short-duration tasks called technical Directives, which range from weeks to months and involve from 1 to numerous deployed technical personnel in customer theaters of operation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Supports execution of a variety of projects and assists in the preparation of project plans, acquisition program baselines, acquisition strategies, implementation plans, and funding plans for all assigned projects within multiple geographic areas. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of a project. Must have experience with all project management functions, to include preparing project plans, acquisition program baselines, acquisition strategies, implementation plans, and funding plans. Must have ability to direct and coordinate multiple activities of large groups of diverse technical experts.


Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:  
Master's Degree or equivalent and at least 7 years of work experience OR Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and at least 10 years of relevant work experience.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:  
DTRA CBEP experience
International project management experience
Foreign language proficiency
PMP Certification
