Description:

 POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing efforts to improve, adapt and evolve the ATMS user interface, data structure and data exchange as well as adapt its service delivery requirements to operate on the Army’s networks to provide relevant Army training management services IAW DoD, Army enterprise and cloud based service oriented architecture (SOA) concepts to deliver on-demand functionality to Army customers at installations around the world.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of moderately complex assignments associated with improving:
• Improve ATMS System Training Management Services Architecture
• Improve ATMS System Data Operations Architecture, Capabilities, Processes and Functions
• Expand ATMS capabilities to use Landing Pages and Wizards to simplify the ATMS user input and use of ATMS
functionality.
• Enhance ATMS Portal and Portlet capabilities
• Improve the ATMS capability to accept bulk data
• Enhance ATMS Reporting Capabilities
• Expand ATMS capability to working with MS Office Suite
• Improve ATMS Course Manager Data Operations Capability and Architecture
• Improve ATMS ATN Data Operations
• Improve ATMS support for Unique RC Data Operations
• Provide the capability to transition ATMS to Cloud-based Architecture and comply with the Army’s Data Center
Consolidation Plan (ADCCP)


Qualifications:

 MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 + years’ experience and or education in software development, the software deployment cycle
- 5 + years’ experience and or education in network and cyber environments with a high degree of familiarity with DOD / Army security processes
- Knowledgeable in IT network data structures and software operations
- 5 + years’ experience and or education Management Structure briefings information exchanges and project / program management
- Knowledgeable with software written SQL, .Net,
- Security+ certification and Computing Environment certification prior to performance start date
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and 5+ years of software development experience
