Job Summary 
As a network engineer, you will have the opportunity to design, integrate, deploy and sustain systems for our customer. The engineer will join a team of highly skilled Network Systems Engineering professionals to physically deploy these systems to both CONUS and OCONUS locations. Engineers will need to rely on their experience with switches, routers, firewalls, encryption devices, copper and fiber based connectivity and understanding of various Ethernet standards and L2/L3 protocols to accomplish tasks. Knowledge of and experience with Cisco product is required as is some knowledge of other products from vendors such as Arista Networks, Riverbed Technologies, timing (NTP) products,  and IP Encryption devices. Willingness for travel CONUS and OCONUS along with after-hours support is required.

Primary responsibilities
Gathering customer requirements, designing, integrating, testing and operational sustainment of connected networks supporting an environment of mostly Linux and VM based workstations and servers. Provide network systems engineering support to the contract focusing on SIGINT systems interconnectivity.

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification is desired and will substitute for 1 year experience
A Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)/ Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) certification is highly desirable.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or Information Systems or related field of study is desired but not required and will not count toward the required experience
Seven (7) or more years directly related experience is required
Experience in network or network security design where under general direction, manages the design, installation and support of LAN/WAN based networks and security components such as routers, switches and firewalls. An understanding of SIGINT based network systems is desired.
Experience in resolving complex network and security issues where in-depth evaluation and analysis was required using SNMP based network monitoring platforms, LAN/WAN test equipment, and log analyzers.
Experience in implementing networks with various Ethernet standards, security services, and terminal services. Knowledge of WAN Optimizers and Time services components desired.
Experience performing network and network security architecture, design, and integration of infrastructure supporting Windows, Linux, or other Operating System (OS) configurations.
Experience with modern LAN/WAN networking concepts. Protocol support will include, but is not limited to TCP, UDP, RDP, DHCP, SSH, NTP, DNS, ARP, ICMP, SCP, and TFTP. Working Knowledge or understanding of static and dynamic routing protocols to include EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and more are highly desired.
Experience with configuration, implementation and sustainment of IP and/or Serial Encryption devices.
