Leidos is actively interviewing for a Training Support Fleet MIW Staffs Instructor in support of the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting and Development Center (SMWDC) Command Function Support, in San Diego, California: 
Develop and support the MIW training continuum for the Strike Group Commander, the Joint Force Maritime Component Commander (JFMCC), and their subordinate MIW and MCMC staffs. This effort shall include emphasis on Mine Warfare Planning, Doctrine compliance, Operational Assessment and effectively sharing time sensitive battle information in the MIW Common Operating Picture. 
Design, develop and support MIW staff curriculum and Train the Trainer Integrated MIW instructional material to include table-top and constructive Mine Warfare scenarios. 
Develop and maintain the Navy Mission Essential Task Lists for MIWC-Theater and MCMC staffs. Further, the contractor will support Exercise Design for training and assessment events to ensure maximum exposure to certification standards. The employee’s analysis shall conform to the direction in the Theaters' OPLANS, particularly in the OPLAN 5027 and 5077 areas of operation, as well as CONPLAN 3400. 
This effort will provide integrated MIW training to specific Navy prospective instructors and validate the curriculum for commands that conduct training in integrated MIW, to include intelligence assessments of the threat. 
Access and utilization of this information and participation in planning sessions and training events shall require the employee to be eligible for TS/SCI level clearances.
Provide MIW SME support to doctrine and tactics development, Fleet MIW assessments and SMWDC program initiatives.


Minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in MIW, ASW and SUW missions and familiarity in providing technical services and analytic expertise in programs for DoD and/or DoN.
Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated knowledge of the DoD, Intelligence Community, and national level system security initiatives.
Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in developing mine warfare and ASW doctrine and tactics.
Familiarity and/or experience working with MIW/ASW and SMWDC.
Four-year college degree in the field of specialty such as Engineering, or related field associated with the PWS requirements; or four-years of equivalent work experience.
Must have a favorable TS/SCI clearance and a current SSBI with ICD 704 eligibility.
Experience as Navy Instructor, preferably as ASW and MIW Instructor.
