Leidos has an opening for a Senior Joint Task Force Operations Planner. Candidates must possess a current Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
JOB DESCRIPTION: Applicants will develop and recommend improvements to Joint Task Force (JTF) deployment preparation and operational employment.  Applicants will be responsible to initially evaluate and then oversee a robust training syllabus designed to prepare deploying personnel for Joint Task Force combat operations.  Applicants must be a subject matter expert in air operations and highly experienced in Joint Fires and Joint Airspace Command and Control procedures. The Joint Integration efforts include but are not limited to Joint Air Ground Integration Cell TTP development, Air Support Operations Center Modernization, Civilian Casualty (CIVCAS) Mitigation, Combat Air Force/Special Operations Forces interoperability, analysis of Air-Ground operational lessons learned and evaluation of relevant / emerging technologies. Applicants will provide operational, tactical, and doctrinal advice to Air and Ground component commanders and their senior staffs; help develop senior leader strategies; assist with operational planning and 9th Air Force command and component unit activities. Applicants must possess combat aviation, Battlefield Airmen/Combat Arms-Maneuver or Theater Air Control System command and control; have served as a director or chief of staff at the Major Command, Numbered Army, equivalent or higher level; and be a retired O-6 or O-7. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 20 years' experience in relevant Service combat or command and control specialties; minimum of 7 years' experience in Joint Air-Ground operations; minimum of 5 years senior officer experience in Joint environment; and a current TOP SECRET or higher security clearance; Minimum of a Master's of Arts degree required. TOP SECRET security clearance is required. TS/SCI is preferred.
