Pr. Systems Engineer (Capability Prototype Analyst)
The Cyber & SIGINT Solutions Operation of Leidos is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer with expertise in Capability Prototype Analysis for our customer site on Fort Meade, Maryland. The successful candidate will perform analysis on highly complex mission areas requiring new and innovative strategies and solutions. Characterize logical and physical networks using multiple sources of data and analyzing various protocols and applications. Research and analyze disparate metadata sessions to produce a cohesive intelligence picture. Develop and document new research and analytical capabilities.
This individual will have a background in C/C++ development and assembly/kernel code. Additionally, knowledge of CNO development and analytics will be crucial to this position.
This role will focus heavily on the following disciplines:
- Configuration Management
This exciting new position is responsible for technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding. Evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Duties include performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.
Our new teammate will resolve highly complex and multi-dimensional problems requiring consideration of variables that impact multiple aspects of the project/program. Leads the development of highly innovative products/solutions, achieved through collaboration and dialogue with other experts in the field.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Masters Degree in a Related Field
- Shall have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering and at least one of the following TTO areas: Network Analysis and Target Analysis
- Experience in C/C++ development; assembly/kernel code
- Expertise in CNO tradecraft and analytics for quick reaction
- CNO Development in support of operational needs
