Description:
Leidos is working on a Department of Energy (DOE) cybersecurity program, and is in the process of identifying a high-performance team to include ISSO positions (listed below). This program will be located in the DC Metro area.

These positions will be responsible maintaining the security of the general support system and major applications associated with parts of a government agency. Responsible may include: maintaining an up-to-date System Security Plan and subordinate plans (e.g., incident response, disaster recovery), reviewing results of vulnerability scans, facilitating patching and configuration hardening, participating in response to incidents, reviewing FISMA reports, and related activities.

ISSO Team Lead
Required Skills
• 15+ years IT experience, to include:
o 10+ years of experience with enterprise cybersecurity
o 3+ years of experience managing cybersecurity teams, including technical leadership
• CISSP, CISM, SANS, or other related certifications
• Master’s degree, preferably in computer science, cybersecurity, MIS, related fields, or Bachelor’s degree with additional 4 years’ experience
• Experience with the following cybersecurity areas: FISMA compliance, NIST SP 800-37, 800-137, 800-53; cybersecurity policy and planning
• Ability to obtain a “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance.

Desired Skills
• Prior experience managing cybersecurity tasks for a federal agency, preferably the Department of Energy
• Experience working in a security operations center
• Experience in a compliance/audit role
• Current Public Trust, “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance

Senior Information System Security Officer
Required Skills
• 8+ years IT experience, to include:
o 4+ years of experience with enterprise cybersecurity
• CISSP, CISM, SANS, or other related certifications
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, cybersecurity, MIS, related fields, or equivalent experience
• Experience with the following cybersecurity areas: FISMA compliance, NIST SP 800-37, 800-137, 800-53; cybersecurity policy and planning
• Ability to obtain a “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance.
