Description:

Leidos is working on a Department of Energy (DOE) cybersecurity program, and is in the process of identifying a high-performance team to include Cybersecurity Awareness Training positions (listed below). This program will be located in the DC Metro area.

Training satisfies annual requirements established by FISMA, with the larger objective of elevating the cybersecurity awareness of DOE personnel. Among other media, cybersecurity training uses the DOE Online Learning Center (OLC); it often follows a role-based format to address the needs of specific groups, and provides content designed to meet requirements established by the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE). This position will be responsible for updating cybersecurity training content, tracking adherence to training requirements, and reporting.


Qualifications:

Cyber Security Analyst
Required Skills
• 4+ years IT experience, to include:
o 2+ years of experience with enterprise cybersecurity
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, cybersecurity, MIS, related fields, or equivalent experience
• Experience with the following cybersecurity areas: cybersecurity training and content development
• Ability to obtain a “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance.

Desired Skills
• CISSP, CISM, SANS, or other related certifications
• Prior experience supporting cybersecurity tasks for a federal agency, preferably the Department of Energy
• Experience working in a security operations center
• Experience in a compliance/audit role
• Current Public Trust, “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance

Cyber Security Coordinator
Required Skills
• 1+ years of IT experience and enterprise cybersecurity
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, cybersecurity, MIS, related fields, or equivalent experience
• Experience with the following cybersecurity areas: cybersecurity training and content development
• Ability to obtain a “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance.

Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years’ experience, preferably in computer science, cybersecurity, MIS, related fields, or equivalent experience
• Experience with the following cybersecurity areas: conference planning, meeting coordination, oversight of cybersecurity content creation
• Ability to obtain a “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance.
Desired Skills
• Prior experience supporting cybersecurity tasks for a federal agency, preferably the Department of Energy
• Current Public Trust, “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance
