Senior Active Directory Administrator
Leidos has an opening for a Senior Active Directory Administrator in Richland, Washington.
In this position you will be expected to work varying hours as necessary to support ongoing operations and maintenance activity, but will primarily be a Mon Fri day shift. This program is a firm fixed price contract that provides the full scope operations and maintenance for IT Infrastructure support services. The successful candidate will combine a deep understanding Active Directory (AD), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic File System (DFS), within a highly virtual environment using VMWare, Linux and Netapp architecture components. The candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot issues using third party diagnostic and monitoring tools, logs, graphs, and performance data to maintain the health and availability of the environment.
The candidate will be a member of a diverse team that operates at the direction of technical guides and recovery procedures to maintain system health and support outage recovery activities. Provide a point of escalation and support to the Network Operations Center. Provide 24/7 on-call support for the environment with other Subject Matter Experts.
Will be expected to participate in weekend and nightly maintenance activities, as required. Perform general system administration duties. Produce appropriate documentation for application deployment, configuration, and related processes. Enforce change management and compliance processes. Perform routine preventative maintenance on all hardware and applications on a routine and scheduled basis. Position is expansive and additional responsibilities can be added.

Typical Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 4 years' experience, Associates degree and 7 years' experience, or a High School diploma/GED and 10 years' experience. Relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of experience.
