Description:

Leidos is working on a Department of Energy (DOE) cybersecurity program, and is in the process of identifying a high-performance team to include Strategic CISO Support positions (listed below). This program will be located in the DC Metro area.

These positions will provide strategic support to a government agency’s Chief Information Security Officer in the area of regulatory and legislative analysis, inter-governmental inquiries, and cybersecurity policy matters. Activities include: strategic analysis of Federal legislative requirements, the output of which shall be recommendations on Enterprise policy administration, cybersecurity program management, and strategic guidance for OCIO executives; monitor the Federal legislative landscape for new cybersecurity initiatives, regulation changes, and laws, as well as the orders, memoranda, and policy directives issued by the Executive Branch. Based on this legislative intake process, assess the impact on Enterprise information security objectives; Prepare impact assessments for DOE executive leadership; support the Chief Information Security Officer by managing the intake of internal and external information security inquiries, and by providing the requisite expertise to respond effectively.


Qualifications:

Cybersecurity Governance Lead
Required Skills
• 15+ years IT experience, to include:
o 10+ years of experience with enterprise cybersecurity
o 3+ years of experience managing cybersecurity teams, including technical leadership
• CISSP, CISM, SANS, or other related certifications
• Master’s degree, preferably in computer science, cybersecurity, MIS, related fields, or Bachelor’s degree with additional 4 years’ experience
• Experience with the following cybersecurity areas: strategic planning, policy, cybersecurity architecture, and cybersecurity project management
• Ability to obtain a “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance.

Desired Skills
• Prior experience managing cybersecurity tasks for a federal agency, preferably the Department of Energy
• Experience working in a security operations center
• Experience in a compliance/audit role
• Current Public Trust, “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance

Principal Cybersecurity Governance Analyst
Required Skills
• 12+ years IT experience, to include:
o 7+ years of experience with enterprise cybersecurity
• CISSP, CISM, SANS, or other related certifications
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, cybersecurity, MIS, related fields, or equivalent experience
• Experience with the following cybersecurity areas: strategic planning, policy, cybersecurity architecture, and cybersecurity project management
• Ability to obtain a “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance.

Desired Skills
• Prior experience supporting cybersecurity tasks for a federal agency, preferably the Department of Energy
• Experience working in and managing a security operations center
• Experience in a compliance/audit role

Senior Cybersecurity Governance Analyst
Required Skills
• 8+ years IT experience, to include:
o 4+ years of experience with enterprise cybersecurity
• CISSP, CISM, SANS, or other related certifications
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, cybersecurity, MIS, related fields, or equivalent experience
• Experience with the following cybersecurity areas: strategic planning, policy, cybersecurity architecture, and cybersecurity project management
• Ability to obtain a “Q” (Top Secret) or “L” (Secret) level clearance.
