Description:
Leidos is working on a Department of Energy (DOE) IT program, and is in the process of identifying a high-performance team to include Service Delivery Center positions (listed below). 
This program will be primarily located in the Washington, DC Metro area.

These positions will provide the deployment and installation of software in the end user computing environment, including all requisite security patches and updates. This includes providing desktop management base images with all appropriate operating system, security, monitoring, application, and user device configurations. This also includes the effective mechanisms to monitor and deploy images and patches to include:
- Windows
- Mac
- VDI and Application Virtualization
- Mobile Device Management
- Software Installation and Patching

Responsibilities
These positions provide all configuration and testing activities necessary to deploy applications, devices, and hardware to the end user environment. This includes performing all provisioning activities according to common processes, ensuring the consistent implementation of assets according to standards.
1. Support all moves, adds, and changes that affect the end user environment
2. Maintain the managed desktop environment according to the latest patches and upgrades, and perform automated deployment of security controls and software patches in accordance with all Cybersecurity standards
3. Provide procurement, provisioning, imaging, configuration, testing, and packaging prior to deploying seats to end user sites
4. Employ common processes and policies for the provision and deployment of assets to ensure consistency in service delivery
5. Handle the day-to-day logistics of deploying packaged solutions, including, but not limited to the scheduling, provisioning, imaging, patching, securing, sanitizing, testing, tracking, distribution, storage, and transportation of assets
6. Provide certified, licensed software for ordering, installation, and removal using automated methods through direct technical support and through an end user self-service portal

Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent and two (2) years of general experience. Six (6) years of general experience is considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. With a Master’s degree one (1) year of general experience is required. With a PhD, no additional general experience is required
• Experience with management and deployment of end user device images
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong aptitude to learn and adapt to new technologies, methods, processes, and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work
• Ability to pass the initial PIV access background check to achieve a DOE public trust clearance
• Ability to obtain an “L” (Secret) or “Q” (Top Secret) level clearance

Desired Skills
• Experience supporting DOE or other government agencies
• Experience with Windows desktop operating systems
• Experience with Macintosh desktop operating systems
• Experience with Mobile Device Management solutions (e.g., GOOD, Airwatch, InTune)
• Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions, Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop
• Experience with end user device monitoring and deployment technologies (e.g., MS SCCM, SCOM, BigFix)
• Knowledge of ITIL service management concepts
• Current DOE Public Trust, “L” (Secret) or “Q” (Top Secret) level clearance
