Description:

 Leidos has an opening for an Enterprise Networks (Enroute Comms) Deployable Tactical Systems Technician located at Fort Benning, Georgia. Candidates must be highly motivated self-starters with the ability for independent action initiative within established guidelines with excellent communication skills. Candidate MUST possess a current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or have current SCI access, current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification and Comptia Security + equivalent (Sec + or CCNA Sec) in order to be considered. The individual will provide the 75th Ranger Regiment Enroute Comms Network support in the areas of Enterprise Network Engineering, Hardware Support and Configuration Management.
Selectee will provide all facets of Network expertise to support current and future requirements within requisite Enterprise and Tactical Networks. The following identifies the selectee’s responsibilities:
1. Network related responsibilities
• IP management/ sync for all RCC tactical systems
• Configuration management for Layer 2 & 3 devices (Routers & Switches) and SHF systems
• TSO support for Layer 2 & layer 3 devices
• Maintain and provide network documentation for all tactical systems
2. Intermediate Support Base (ISB) related activities
• Support 1.2M JMET, 2.0M Hawkeye, 2.4M GATR, SDN-M & SDN-L system maintenance with SPAWAR and L3 coordination.
• eMDRT modem option file coordination
• Weekly system testing of systems identified for OPALERT support, reporting
• Configuration management for TSP Baseband encryption devices (KG-250X)
• Tactical Support Package (TSP) X2 support and system checks
• ISR support with Rover 6, Vortex, Multicasting Full Motion Video (FMV)
3. Enroute Mission Command Capability (EMCC) related activities
• Support Hatch Mount Satellite Antenna (HMSA)(ViaSat), TECOM KU-1500 maintenance support with ViaSat, Honeywell, TECOM
• iDirect Modem firmware updates, option file tracking, system checks
• ViaSat Modem firmware updates, map-data updates, related ViaSat coordination
• Maintenance of transport systems (iDirect, ViaSat and future INMARSAT systems)
• Configuration management for Layer 3 devices (Routers configs), related documentation
• Configuration management for Ranger Baseband (RBB) encryption devices (KG-250X)
• Wave Server configuration documentation, multi-cast IP address documentation
• Weekly system testing of systems identified for OPALERT support, reporting
• Up and Out related coordination


Qualifications:

 REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree, and 8+ years of network experience. Twelve years of relevant network experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
• CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Security+ certification – Must be current.
