Description:

Leidos is currently looking for a Network Administrator in Fort Belvoir, VA. This position is in support of the I2TS-3 contract.

 

The Network Administrator shall perform all of the requirements to actively monitor the performance of the C4IM System at the central site and remote location(s) to ensure it is operating efficiently and U.S. Army INSCOM customers have the capabilities needed for mission execution. The Network Administrator shall identify trends of degrading performance and facilitate fault isolation and preventative and remedial maintenance as appropriate, and shall notify the site’s leadership identified by the COR/TTM when the system experiences a component failure.

 

The Network Administrator shall provide Active Directory (AD) network and security administration and maintenance for all domain controllers, and shall be responsible for authenticating and authorizing all users and computers within a network of Windows domain type, assigning and enforcing security policies for all computers in a network and installing or updating software on network computers. The Network Administrator shall support the INSCOM Enterprise Support team by ensuring that INSCOM Enterprise services and servers remain operational. This effort will include using various methods and tools to monitor AD services. The Network Administrator shall manage operations, activities, services of the MI Enterprise AD environment, and provide support for systems administration, troubleshooting, scripting, and security administration of the INSCOM AD/Exchange environment.

 
Primary Responsibilities
 

• Perform administration duties for networking hardware including routers, switches, hubs, gateways, access points, network interface cards, networking cables, network bridges, modems, ISDN adapters, firewalls and other related network hardware

• Must have firm grasp and knowledge of fiber and copper-based Ethernet technologies, capabilities and cabling and their connectivity to local and wide area networks

Basic Qualifications
 
Experience/Education:

HSD or GED with 10 Years of relevant experience

OR Associate's Degree with  8 Years of relevant experience

OR Bachelor's Degree with 6 Years of relevant experience

OR Master's Degree with 4 Years of relevant experience

OR PhD.

 

Clearance: Active TS/SCI required at time of hire.

 

Certifications at time of hire:

 

This position  requires DoD Directive 85570.01M IAT Level II - Must have one of the following: CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP
