Systems Administrator (at Washington, DC)

The FBI Information Technology Applications and Data Division (ITADD) provides state-of-the-art IT engineering leadership in order to enable FBI information technology to enhance mission capabilities and increase mission success in the critical areas of law enforcement and national security, including for the Intelligence, Counterintelligence, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Counterterrorism Divisions. ITADD requires system administration services that include the following tasks.
Duties and Responsibilites:
-Install, maintain, upgrade, and configure the enterprise identity manager products, e.g., IBM Tivoli Identity Manager/IBM Tivoli Access Manager.
-Provide Windows, Linux and UNIX operating system administration to include central authentication and authorization services.
Analyze stored data and make recommendations relating to performance and efficiency of that data storage.
-Provide onsite architectural support, development, and administration of the IBM DataPower Hardware and Software.
-Provide after hours and weekend support to address hardware and software issues.
-Apply firmware patches and routine maintenance updates.
-Troubleshoot system problems/issues with external stakeholders, determine root cause, and coordinate or implement resolution with other infrastructure teams.
-Provide for critical incident response and problem management including root cause of system problems, such as configuration issues resulting in operational performance degradation or system outages, supporting the Government with information and advice on the necessary correction actions and/or interim workarounds.
-Work with key stakeholders to perform quality assurance functions in order to verify that proposed and implemented changes adhere to FBI quality standards.
-Work within agency framework to implement, upgrade, and maintain Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems, including Documentum and other similar products.
-Index and content search products, e.g., SOLR.
-Create/update/execute required documentation, e.g., scripts, reports, pans, etc. Responsible for monitoring software upgrade requirements and ensuring compliance and compatibility with existing configurations.
-Assist in the development of user and system administration documentation.
-Assist in data migrations as necessary.
-Bachelor's degree (or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
-Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux and UNIX environments.
-Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Windows environments.
-Active TOP SECRET Clearance Required.
-Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with DataPower.
-Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with ECM products, specifically Documentum.
-Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with IBM TIM/TAM other similar enterprise products.
-Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with requirements tracking products such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) and JIRA.
