Description:
Global Information Grid (GIG) Service Management-Operations (GSM-O), a Defense and Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for a Situational Awareness/Fusion Analyst at JFHQ-DODIN at Ft. Meade, MD.


JOB SUMMARY:

The Situation Awareness / Fusion Analyst will support Joint Force Headquarters – Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DODIN) command and control (C2) capability by implementing and maintaining a common operational picture (COP) through the DoD system of record, Global Command and Control Systems-Joint (GCCS-J).


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct research and analysis to provide internally approved and provisioned cyberspace situational awareness capabilities.
•Focus on the technical challenges inherent with integrating new systems, components, facilities, and applications.
•Communicate effectively and collaborate with supporting the agency’s project managers, internal division chiefs, senior leaders, and higher headquarters within the DoD cyberspace community as well as the intelligence and IT communities.
•Evaluate effectiveness of potential solutions and if they meet functional requirements, documenting successes and failures, and identify gaps to make informed recommendation to the customer.
• Produce COP Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensure adherence to SOP enabling cyber COP normalization globally.

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 8+ years of overall related experience. 4+ years of additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
•Currently possess an active DoD TS/SCI clearance and eligible for C/I Polygraph.
• Previous experience with DISA Internet Access Point (IAP) and/or Intelligence Community (IC) DCO capabilities, appliances, sensors, defense processes and/or capabilities.
•Experience at Joint Command and/or Operations Center.

·Previous experience with Global Command and Control Systems


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security +ce.

·         ITIL V3

·         Technical understanding in some of the following areas: network communication using TCP/IP protocols, basic system administration, basic understanding of cyber security threats, malware (malware communication installation, or malware types), computer network defense, military action officer/staff officer functions.

·         Experience briefing Senior Leaders
