We are searching for a Quality Assurance Lead at our Huntsville, AL location to support the SS-AISR program. This individual will work directly with our I&I Team (Innovations and Integrations) and be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining technical quality assurance and control systems. Duties may include defining and specifying the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of client and/or company products. Will develop technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution. Will inspect PME (Primary Mission Equipment) upon removals/installations of aircraft and prior to shipping/receiving. Supports aircraft maintenance, kit fabrication, and avionics test lab analysis.

Primary Responsibilities
- Communicate with internal and client project team
- Work to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches
- Implement Work Order and Work Instruction processes
- Return aircraft to service after PME upgrades or modifications
- Identify opportunities for system improvement
- Maintain documentation for audits and trend analysis
- In process and completion inspections of avionics cables/harnesses, and structural components that may be fabricated

Basic Qualifications
•A Bachelor’s degree and 4+  years of relevant experience in DoD aircraft maintenance and Quality Assurance inspections: Additional 7 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance and Quality Assurance inspections is required if candidate does not have a  BS degree
•Must have FAA issued A&P license
•2+ years of prior experience inspecting wire harnesses and structural components
•Must have an active Secret level DoD clearance prior to start
-2+ years of previous experience establishing processes and procedures for Quality Assurance
•Familiar with basic computer skills

-Fixed wing experience – (King Air 300/350)
-ISR (Intelligence Reconnaissance Surveillance) platform knowledge

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
