Job Summary
An experienced Linux System Administrator/Engineer is needed to lead the technical direction and provide administration and operational support to our customer in Annapolis Junction. The lead will need a proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to integrate into an existing technical team comprised of contractors and government customers. To be successful in this role the candidate will need to demonstrate proficiency with Linux.

Primary Responsibilities 
Lead and drive the technical direction for a team comprised of contractors and government customers 
Automate system tasks using bash, python, perl scripting. 
Provide system administration for RedHat/CentOS 5, 6, 7 and Windows Server 2003, 2008.
Work with VMware vCenter and ESXi as well a KVM
Provide user account management and user access controls.
Provide maintenance and troubleshooting of NetApp and Isilon storage, NiagaraFiles (NiFi) dataflow.
Provide support and troubleshoot in the following areas: Networking , DNS, web services (apache, tomcat), NFS, SMB, and OpenLDAP.

Qualifications:
Proficency with LINUX is a firm requirement
A proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to integrate into and lead an existing technical team comprised of contractors and government customers. 
System administration experience with RedHat/CentOS 5, 6, 7 and Windows Server 2003, 2008.
Virtualization experience with VMware vCenter and ESXi as well as KVM.
Ability to automate system tasks using bash, python, perl scripting.
Experience with NetApp and Isilon storage, NiagaraFiles (NiFi) dataflow.
Knowledge of networking, DNS, web services (apache, tomcat), NFS, SMB, and OpenLDAP.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field of study from an accredited college or university and eight (8) or more years experience. In lieu of Bachelors Degree eight (8) or more years directly related experience and/or certifications
