Description:
The Defense & Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for a Technical Documentation Lead at Chesapeake, VA. 

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for the planning and development of the Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) for the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 combat systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop book plan for each baseline
  • Write technical content in a clear concise manner, in accordance with contract requirements
  • Ability to write documentation in multiple formats including xml
  • Develop and maintain product schedule for completion of multiple technical manuals
  • Identify resource requirements to develop and maintain products
  • Develop, maintain, and report performance metrics
  • Develop troubleshooting procedures
  • Develop corrective maintenance procedures
  • Participate in ILS working groups and IPTs
  • Coordinate with management for workload requirements
  • Participate in Product Reviews

Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. Equivalent experience combined with education also acceptable. 

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with the AN/SQQ-89 system
  • Experience with development of Technical Documentation using S1000D
  • HTML and XML experience
