Maintenance Implementation Engineer
Leidos's Civil Transportation Solutions currently has an opening for a Maintenance Implementation Engineer (MIE). This candidate will be responsible for supporting and performing life cycle sustainment and integrated product support (IPS) of Air Traffic Control systems deployed to the FAA.
Duties include assisting the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead on assigned FAA programs to insure all aspects of the Logistic Support Plan are developed and executed seamlessly. Required interaction with the Depot facility to insure the CDLS phase of the program is staffed properly, tools and systems are in place for all repair and supply support requirements are met.
Key focus areas include insuring the required sparing levels are maintained, risks are identified, field failure data is collected, metrics developed and analyzed, and customer deliverables are developed and delivered per program schedules. Will require the assessment of engineering change requests (CR) for impacts to the MIE organization.
Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.
Spares Modeling, MS office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word). Logistics, HW/SW Maintenance Planning.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
