Aircraft Structural & Integration Technician

As the Aircraft Structural and Integration Technician, you will maintain, repair and modify aircraft structures, and structural components of moderate difficulty including internal mechanical components and exterior antennas. In this position, you will apply technical knowledge of airframe and structural assemblies in determining equipment malfunctions and will restore equipment condition and operation. Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints and manufacture’s manuals. Installation and integration of avionics and network equipment including sensors and servers. Creates and manages BOMs (Bill of Materials) and provides input and feedback of accuracy of engineering documentation.
•Installation and assistance of testing and troubleshooting avionics, sensors and servers
•FAA Documentation of repairs and modifications
•FAA Return to Service signoff authority – FAA Inspection Authorization
•CONUS and OCONUS Travel – up to 25%
Required Job Qualifications
•Must have an active Secret level clearance.
•Years of Experience: 4 years of relevant experience in airframe structural repair
•Proven understanding of engineering and installation drawings and specifications
•Must be able to identify material fatigue and damage and provide solutions for repair
•Familiar with basic Computer skills
•ISR Platform Experience (4 years or more)
•Familiar with DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) instruction 8210 – 1C
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
