The Health Products and Solutions group is currently seeking a systems/requirements analyst to support a large healthcare contract in Austin.  


Working knowledge of healthcare industry; Medicare claims processing knowledge; Working experience with interfaces of claims pricing and editing tools; Working experience with rule-based engines, such as DROOLS;Technical experience with unit testing and valition; SQL knowledge; Database (Oracle); General Healthcare domain knowledge; Knowledge of medicare benefits; Experience with JIRA and VersionOne.

The candidate will work closely with project stakeholders and coordinate with program stakeholders to gather business and functional requirements. Collaborate with the customer and engage Medicare Medicaid Plans (MMPs) with the submission of Medicare-Medicaid Integrated Encounter data to the proprietary system. Work with the validation team and coordinate joint analysis session to ensure all MMP data is in alignment with CMS implementation guidance that MMPs must adhere to the order of the segments as documented in the ANSI ASC x12N Technical Reports, Type 3, section 2.3 – Transaction Set Listing – with regard to file structure and content. Update business rules algorithms that pertain to benefits between the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Work with MMPs to ensure that they adhere to unique requirements of the proprietary system to be used in conjunction with the TR3 Companion Guide and State assigned Medicaid Companion Guides.

Desired Skills:

Proficiency is developing SDLC artifacts, including technical design and requirements documentation; MS Office suite; Project Management experience; Technical Writing experience; Experience with gathering functional requirements; Experience working with Agile Lifecycle and methodologies; Excellent communication skills; Excellent writing skills;

BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.
