Description:

The Civil Health Group of Leidos is seeking the below types of Service Desk related skills, contingent upon contract award in Bethesda / Rockville, Maryland.

• Help Desk Manager (BS): 2 – 3; Provide daily supervision and direction to staff who are responsible for phone and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, computer operating systems, desktop applications for all types of computer systems, and applications developed or deployed under this contract. Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software, all types of computer systems (PC, Mac, and Linux), and printer problems. Highly desired ITIL Practitioner, Service Manager, or Foundation certifications; Help Desk Institute (HDI) Service Manager certification; Microsoft Windows certifications; and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Engineer Desktop Infrastructure certification


Help Desk Specialist (BS or HS Diploma): 18 – 20; Provide phone, email, web, and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, computer operating systems, desktop applications for all types of computer systems, and applications developed or deployed under this contract. Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software, all types of computer systems (PC, Mac, and Linux), and printer problems. Highly desired ITIL Foundation, Apple Certified Support Professional, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Linux+, and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate certifications


Hardware Technician (BS or HS Diploma): 4 – 5; Conduct site surveys; assess and document current site network configuration and user requirements. Design and optimize network topologies. Analyze existing requirements and prepare engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages. Prepare site installation and test reports. Configure computers, communications devices, and peripheral equipment. Install network hardware. Train site personnel in proper use of hardware. Highly desired ITIL Foundation, Apple Certified Support Professional, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician; LPIC-1, and/or LPIC-2


• Computer Systems Analyst (BS or HS Diploma): 2 – 3; Analyze and develop operating procedures to support problem identification of e-mail, directories, computer operating systems, desktop applications for all types of computer systems, and applications developed or deployed under this contract. Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software, all types of computer systems (PC, Mac, and Linux), and printer problems. Highly desired ITIL Foundation, Apple Certified Support Professional, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Linux+, HDI Desktop Support Manager, and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate certifications

All positions require the ability to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 US Citizen or US Person (with 3 years current residency in the US).


Public Trust Level 6 clearance may be required. A Level 6 clearance requires candidates to be US Citizens
