IT Hardware Technician/Installer
The Defense Group of Leidos has an immediate opening for an IT Hardware Technician/Installer at Ft. Bragg, NC.
IT Hardware Technician part of the Hardware Network Team to support the G2 Army MI Enterprise which provides IT installation, repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems. This position entails 25-30% travel to various CONUS site locations.
•Install, remove, or replace hardware and software.
•Conduct site survey site installations and functional testing of IT equipment to include, but not limited to, workstations, monitors, KVM, servers, routers, switches, video teleconference (VTC) equipment, fiber optic, and/or copper cabling.
•Conduct research on IT equipment and submit base order of materials for various customer sites.
•Obtain and maintain all appropriate manufacturer technical data and warranty documentation.
•High School diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience.
•Ability to travel to various site locations as needed.
•Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at IAT II, Security+ce.
•Currently possess Cisco CCENT certification or higher relevant certification.
•Currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
•Fiber optic installer certification.
