Job Summary
The Jr. Systems Engineer will be responsible for supporting our customer in both CONUS and hazardous OCONUS environments. The base location will be Columbia, MD. 

Position Responsibilities:
Perform full lifecycle support to the customer on complex data systems and networks.
Provide solutions to the customer applying expertise with systems engineering and networks/components to support.
Provide technical guidance to the customer in relation to SIGINT systems.
Provide activities, research, and support to engineering efforts and maintenance of the system front end access systems, SSE, OSCE, and related normalizing enablers for FOPs.
Review JIRA Tickets to ensure corrective measures are being followed to effect resolution of the outage/discrepancy.
Review Operational Documentation and Procedures for the customer systems.
Review technical training for system in coordination with customer
Provide documentation and training for personnel.
Document any and all technical changes to the system and incorporate those changes when and where required in coordination with customer 
Troubleshoot the systems as required
Ad-hoc Hazardous duty travel is required for this position

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field of study. Candidates actively pursuing a technical degree will be considered but must possess equivalent experience. 
Two (2) or more years related systems or SIGINT engineering experience.
Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with poly.
Candidate must possess the following skills:
• LINUX or UNIX administration/maintenance experience 
• Some knowledge of SIGINT systems useful
• Some knowledge of SIGINT dataflows useful
• Ability to perform in a team environment
 
Candidates possessing system administration and/or network engineering backgrounds will be considered if they have the above skillset.  

Ad-hoc Hazardous duty travel is required for this position
