Description:

Leidos is seeking two Senior Proposal Coordinators to join the Corporate proposal teams in Rockville, MD and Reston, VA. 

 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supports Proposal Manager with organization and daily management of team logistics throughout the proposal life cycle
• Photocopies and distributes solicitation documents including amendments and hard/soft copy Color Reviews and Wall Walks
• Must have the ability to interpret and understand Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements to anticipate timelines and capture needs.
• Coordinates, maintains, and tracks all work (text and graphics) including data calls from all stakeholders during each phase of the proposal process up to and including delivery of the final product and ensure compliance.
• Captures Color Review outputs and prepares materials for Kick-off and other major meetings
• Organizes and maintains file sharing repository for proposal team; Coordinates repository access for internal and external resources in conjunction with IT coordinators
• Supports Pre-proposal and Post-proposal activity including Author Workshops, Strategy Sessions
• Develops Production Plans and approval of all proposal templates (art, author)
• Adhere to pre, final formatting, and delivery checklists for hard copy and electronic media files
• Provide guidance and ensure configuration control of proposal sections with Authors, Technical, Cost Volume Leads and Pricers
• Manages and oversees all aspects of reproduction of final proposal deliverables
• Supports Proposal Manager with development of Proposal Schedule and updates
• Supports Art Log of work to document proposal graphic control numbers and varied iterations and post completed work to a collaborative environment
• Expert skill set in MicroSoft Office Suite; Experience in PowerPoint, InDesign and other layout and design software is desirable
• Provides visual Quality Assurance (QA) Quality Control (QC) of all proposal materials including spell check to ensure compliance
• Assist with administrative tasks including supply, meal, and snack orders as needed
• Receives and registers proposal team subcontractors and subject matter experts, and supports and meeting scheduling, catering, and teleconferencing needs

Qualifications:
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience.   Some college or design school preferred.
• Must have the ability to interpret and understand Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements to anticipate timelines and capture needs.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written with customers and company personnel
• Coordinates, maintains, and tracks all work (text and graphics) from all stakeholders during each phase of the proposal process up to and including delivery of the final product and ensure compliance.
• Knowledge of color reprographics and scanning/CD burning best practices and processes
• Performs equipment maintenance as needed and troubleshoot equipment maintenance via telephone
• Perform key operator services on copiers/printers and multi-function devices
• Maintains and ensures ample reproduction inventory and orders supplies as needed
• Participates in daily team tag-ups
• Provides formatting in support of business development initiatives, including White Papers, Ad-hoc projects and reports, and visual presentations in PowerPoint and MicroSoft Office Suite
• Support the maintenance of proposal content library of solution content and supporting graphics
• Manage small solicitation responses such as RFIs and Task Order RFPs
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required
• Ability to meet attendance policy
 
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Background in customer service and/or reproduction related background or previous experience in state and local government, commercial or federal proposals
• Desired: Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (Secret, Top Secret-SCI)
