The Cyber and SIGINT Solution Ops under Defense and Intelligence Sector of Leidos has a career opportunity for a Software Engineer with a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance in Columbia, Maryland.

PROGRAM SUMMARY: Do you enjoy being a part of small teams that work closely with the customer? Our Prototype Development Support program is looking for candidates with a strong mission focus to do new development and rapid prototyping. Someone who can figure out smarter, better ways to discover new targets or support mission analysis. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate should have a strong interest and demonstrated experience with Windows development and thrive in a fast-paced environment with often-changing priorities and a demanding customer. Primary focus will be on researching proof of concept techniques, reverse engineering vulnerabilities and prototyping mobile exploits. Primary focus will be on researching and prototyping Windows exploits and vulnerabilities. The candidate will work closely to identify requirements and translate those requirements into the required product. The team works in a collaborative and agile environment. The Software Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle: assisting with architecture, design and development, user experience, documentation, unit testing, delivery, and maintenance. The candidate must be a self-starter with experience to work without direction.


At least 8-10 years of general experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of experience in software-intensive projects and programs for government or industry customers. 
At least 5 years of the experience must have been as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirement analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and existing systems). 

Perform open source research to identify potential vulnerabilities in mobile and desktop platforms and thoroughly document research.
Analyze network communications to determine feasibility of exploitation.
Develop proof of concept code using appropriate languages (C/C++, Java, Python, etc.) to exercise identified mobile and/or desktop vulnerabilities to determine feasibility of productization.
Productize proof of concept code for integration into supported exploitation platforms by developing complex applications and libraries written in appropriate language.
Create and execute test plans for developed code. 
Develop appropriate support code to integrate capabilities into customer frameworks, data flows, and data repositories.

Working knowledge of C/C++, Java, Python, Assembly, etc.
Experience with code execution in non-traditional manners using shell code and injected code
Experience with manual loading and execution techniques
Experience with HEAP internals, HEAP overflow, use after free and spray concepts
Experience with some of the following: 
o ARM/ X86/ other assembly language
o Windows Interprocess Communication (Win IPC
o Windows Management Implementation (WMI)
o Driver Programming
o Debug tools for crash analysis WINdbg
o Windows development (Win IPC, WMI, Driver Programing, WINdbg, etc)
o Reverse engineering and software analysis tools toolsets such as IDAPro
o Debug tools for crash analysis gdb or equivalent
o Experience with JavaScript and browser internals and process communication
Experience with designing software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation
Experience with code O&M and working with inherited code

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience.
