The Health Products and Solutions Group is currently seeking a System Architect to support a large healthcare contract in Baltimore. This position is contingent upon contract award.
The primary focus is to provide enterprise architecture for a complex CMS system of existing custom code and COTS based applications. This position involves developing IT-based solutions to customer needs. The candidate will use their knowledge and experience in system design and agile development to develop and shape architectural solutions and lead system design activities. The right candidate will embrace innovation as a means to improve CMS's ability to achieve its mission.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of user business problems and the development of system recommendations to meet requirements. Analyzes current and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience designing architecture for an organization at an enterprise level.
Experiences include defining systems and applications architecture.
Experience providing vision, problem anticipation and problem solving;
Knowledge and experience with consolidating applications, preferably in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) level.
Must be familiar with a variety of Enterprise Architecture development field’s concepts, practices and full system development Life Cycle (ILC)
