Description:

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Information Assurance/Computer Network Defense (IA/CND) Security Analyst/Engineer for our customer site in Suitland, MD. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.  

  

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

 

The Mid IA/CND Security Analyst/Engineer will provide support to ensure products and services comply with all appropriate Information Assurance policies/procedures, network defense requirements and best practices as prescribed by ODNI, DIA, DoD, DISA, Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC), NCIS, Intelligence Community-Incident Response Center (IC­IRC), and local authorities. 

 

The IA/CND analyst will provide support protection activities and response actions for government Information Technology systems. 

 

The analyst will help ensure that all products and services delivered on this contract meet or exceed the security criteria specified by external authorities for computer network defense.

 



Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

 

BS and 5+ years of experience in the CND discipline OR an AS degree with 6+ years experience in the CND discipline OR 7+ years of mixed work experience in the CND/IT discipline 

 

Active CEH certification or able to achieve a CEH certification within 6 months of hire.  


3+ yrs of experience with  network security tools    

 

Active TS/SCI clearance

 

Experience with DoD Directive 8500.01E, Chairman Joint Chief of Staff (CJCS) Instruction 6510.01, DoD Instruction O-8530.2, and Secretary of the Navy Instruction (SECNAVINST) 5239.3B

 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Experience with CND within DoD, DISA, Commander 10th Fleet (NCDOC and Navy Network Warfare Command) and/or DoDIIS

 

Experience with IC tools, systems, and reporting mechanisms and requirements for CND

 

Knowledge of DoD, IC, and national level system security initiatives and LAN/WAN technologies

 

Experience establishing and managing high performing CND teams, including utilizing industry, DOD and IC standards to create ISC “best practices”
