Description:
Leidos is in search of a Deputy Project Manager to support a program in Northern Virginia. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Security Clearance in order to be considered for this position.
The DPM will report directly to the Program Manager and be co-responsible for all aspects of program execution along with the Program Manager. This position consists of oversight for all staffing efforts on the program to include: posting and tracking all positions, interviewing candidates, preparing classified resumes, maintaining staffing roster and managing the subcontractor team and their positions on the contract. The DPM will assist in career development plans for Leidos employees and manage compliance with training requirements and performance reviews. Additional responsibilities include working with the customer line and contracts management to ensure that Leidos is meeting its program deliverables. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting an IC contract and operational knowledge/experience with key, core customer mission areas. The DPM of this program is jointly responsible for planning, directing, scheduling, and executing all SOW elements.

In addition, the DPM will:
• Participate in all project reviews, operational meetings, & briefings
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver award term self-assessment materials
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver white papers and capabilities materials
• Support contract growth initiatives and redeployment of personnel as necessary
• Identify candidates for all open positions
• Maintain the Project Management Plan, CONOP, and AGILE schedule
• Ensure data integrity of all program databases – classified and unclassified
• Provide up-to-date status reports to the Sponsor
• Develop a metrics and reporting program to support Sponsor and BD activities
• Ensure all security constraints are adhered to
• Responsible for all facilities, funding, cost, schedule, and contract deliverables

Qualifications:
Candidate must have a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required and 12+ years of prior work experience. A technical degree or direct experience in engineering and/or systems development is preferred.
• Candidate must have 2-5 years working knowledge of HUMINT and Clandestine Collection Activities in the IC
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Government, Intelligence Community, or Commercial technical or systems development projects.
• Minimum of 5 years as a Program/Project Manager or Team Lead with increasing responsibility, preferably with experience on cost reimbursable contracts
• Excellent briefing, writing, communication, administrative and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate ability to take initiative and to work independently, under stringent timelines and as member of a team.
• A PMP is desired.
