Personnel Deployment Specialist
The Leidos High Resolution ISR Systems Division has an opportunity for a Personnel Deployment Specialist located in Alexandria, VA.
The job of the Personnel Deployment Specialist is to provide administrative support to division management and Program Managers and will support the deployment and redeployment of personnel to multiple OCONUS locations including high-risk areas operated by US military forces within the Central Command (CENTCOM), European Command (EUCOM), Africa Command (AFRICOM) and Pacific Command (PACOM) Areas of Operation (AORs). Candidate will coordinate efforts with other contractor and government agencies in conjunction with Leidos internal and external operations in order to understand country-specific entry/exit requirements, track personnel, schedule and assist personnel with completing all CONUS Replacement Center requirements. Candidate must be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask and follow established business processes and regulations. Must also be able to communicate effectively with teammates, management and government Program Office personnel.
•Interpret and comply with various government agency requirements regarding country-specific entry/exit requirements using established procedures
•Perform risk assessments associated with proposed deployment locations and provide recommendations and risk mitigation strategies to management
•Track personnel movements, schedules, and assist with CONUS-related requirements
•Maintain deployment requirements database for assigned employees
•Schedule, monitor and track all pre-deployment preparations, which includes training and medical/dental/immunizations exams
•Assemble digital and hard copy deployment, CRC and personnel records
•Brief new employees on deployment processes and timelines
•Work closely with the PMs and task leads to gather deployment requirements, schedules and information
•Participate in IPTs and assist management in development of Privacy Plan and Standard Operating Procedures
•BA degree and 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
•Excellent customer service skills and abilities
•Experience in an office setting handling confidential/sensitive information
•Must have an Active Secret security clearance
•Experience with DoD deployment systems and published guidance (i.e., Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) and the DoD Foreign Clearance Guide).
