Project Engineer Sr - DISA - GIG DISN Services
Leidos Defense and Intelligence Group is currently seeking a Project Engineer to work with our customer, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). In this role, you will act as the provider of GIG/Defense Information System Network (DISN) services to its customers the Department of Defense (DoD) and national security organizations. The customer, DISA, is also responsible for the Joint Regional Security Stack implementation, including integration, testing and configuration of the stacks, migration of the traffic and development of the management system.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related
discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5
years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional
experience with a related Masters degree.
- Must hold active Secret clearance
Secret clearance prior to start on the program.
Must be able to obtain fully adjudicated Secret clearance and eligible to obtainTop Secret clearance per the contract.
Must have excellent written and oral communications skills and leadership abilities.
Able to communicate with ease within a team as well as across
Can identify needed resources, negotiates use of those resources,
assigns responsibilities and develops timeframes to facilitate
successful completion of project activities and deliverables
Lends expertise to teams and task forces
Ensures that the team is prioritizing tasks and operating
smoothly, escalating issues when necessary.
Uses methodology to develop plans, assign roles and
responsibilities; authors improvements to methodology
- Familiar with DISA networks and processes
- Familiar with using project tracking software (MS Project, etc)
- Working knowledge of IT networks
