Systems Engineer - Test
The Defense & Intelligence Group (D&IG) currently has an opening for a System Engineer (Test) to work in our Ft. Meade, MD office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills and experience helping the Global Command and Control System - Joint (GCCS-J) program management office field a critical C2 system. In this mission we work as a team comprised of system administrators, other test engineers, security engineers, release managers and PMO leadership to provide the warfighter with proven GCCS-J software.
The Systems Engineer (Test) is responsible for the following:
- Preparing test plans and test reports.
- Conducting functional, integration, regression and performance testing on engineering drops and formal delivered software for the GCCS-J Family of Systems.
- Working with a team of system administrators, other testers, and security engineers to administer and maintain a continuous verification and validation process for IAVAs, security patches, and/or TCNOs as applicable to the Global Command and Control System – Joint (GCCS-J) baseline.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
BS or BA degree in Computer Science or related, and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience.
The candidate will be required to have, or obtain within 120 Days, DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (i.e. one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+ with CE, GSEC, SCNO, SSCP, CISSP).
