Description:

This position is in direct support of the Air Force Common Computing Environment (CCE) with development activities in the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Common Services environment. This innovative task is through the Global Combat Support System - Air Force (GCSS-AF) 2 contract vehicle. Team members will collaborate on all activities to support systems engineering, integration, software capability/maintenance and related support services. Team members will be encouraged to adopt and implement industry-best practices and encouraged to explore the latest technology and most efficient practices.

Specific responsibilities include:

·Configure provisioning tools and the Continuous Delivery platform.
·Analyze customer requirements, design, code and test software
·Ability to not only code and configure tools, but also assemble and integrate technology across platforms.
·Develop unit tests for developed software
·Integrate system and build configuration.
·Design and build automated code deployment systems that simplify development work for consistency and predictability.   You’ll do this by orchestrating environment deployment from OS all the way through the application layers of a solution using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Maven, etc.
·Exhibit a deep understanding of server virtualization, networking and storage ensuring that the solution scales and performs with high availability and uptime.
·Create mechanisms/architectures that enable rapid recovery, repair and cleanup of faulty migrations with good understanding of fault tolerance and failure domains.
·Create automated tests that easily plug into the automated code pipeline.
·Provide deep and detailed levels of monitoring across all levels of the application.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

·Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
·Experience in Java 
·Experience with Enterprise security and access control implementations

Desired Skills:

·ERP Knowledge
·Solaris, RHEL and Windows Operating Systems
·Experience configuring and using Maven, GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, etc.
·Familiar with Automated Continuous Integration, Test and Deployment technologies, policy and procedures
·Understanding and knowledge of DoD systems and in particular DISA
·Experience in commercial cloud environments (AWS, OMCS)
·Experience in platform migration
·Experience in cloud migration

Experience in Agile development

 

Education:

HS diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience or

BS degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or

Masters degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
