Description:
The NISC III program is looking for a qualified Technical Analyst that will maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality.  A successful technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and be able to support the following: 
 
  • Support the deployment, updates, operations, and maintenance of mini-micro computers for FAA Academy training systems and office settings, providing detailed assistance in the maintenance, administration, and operation of software and hardware for classroom environments
  • Provide installation support, as required by the manufacturer as well as configuration management to ensure all systems perform as designed
  • Provide deployment support for local area networks, servers, and personal computers
  • Provide support to management with briefings and status of projects, problems, or other outstanding project-related issues
  • Monitor and maintain event logs and research issues related to system access
  • Provide documentation support in the form of form of a logbook as well as maintain the established logbook, once established

Qualifications:
Two (2) or more years of related experience. A Bachelor's degree in a related field can be substituted for experience requirements.
