The NISC III program has an opening for a Project Manager to support HR initiatives in the FAA HR organization. To support the planning and execution of strategic initiatives in a variety of functions and activities requiring application of a wide range of qualitative or quantitative methods for assessment of management processes, systems and mission support programs.
  • Supports the implementation and coordination of various projects and programs.
  • Plans and conducts special studies, provides advice on functions and activities, and develops, recommends and evaluates the effectiveness of programs in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Produces specialized analytical reports and studies to inform workforce planning efforts.
  • Develops business cases, develops requirements, and projects funding and resources needed for various initiatives. 
  • Facilitates strategic and workforce planning initiatives for lines of business and offices within the agency to help meet goals and improve performance.
  • Applies professional knowledge of facilitation, communication, and change management principles to conduct focus groups, interviews, strategic planning, and action planning with diverse groups of stakeholders including agency leadership.
  • Provides a range of consultation services, advice, and assistance as requested.
  • Plans, develops, and coordinates strategic planning briefings, presentations and conferences for managers, senior managers and leadership. Ensures that accurate, concise and timely information is available to management.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum BA in Human Resource Management or any Business related field
  • 10 years or more experience
  • Significant experience conducting Strategic Workforce Planning or similar strategic forecasting projects
Desired Qualifications:
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Related project management software applications
